Please be advised: Canine Influenza "dog flu" has been identified in our state of Washington. This upper respiratory disease has the potential to cause serious simptoms in certain dogs. Dogs that are in contact with other dogs on a regular basis are at a greater risk of exposure. Thankfully there is a vaccine, which we carry, designed to protect against disease caused by the CIV H3N2 strain. Please contact our office if you would like more information on the CIV H3N2 virus or to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian to assess your dog's particular needs and health risks. Certified Feline Friendly Practice by AAFP


Our clinic is a certified "Cat Friendly Practice" by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP).   The Cat Friendly Practice program seeks to transform and elevate the delivery of feline veterinary care by:

  • Laying the groundwork for the delivery of care to the underserved feline population.
  • Identifying trends and baseline species information essential for understanding cats.
  • Acknowledging the essential role of the cat owner in the veterinary visit.
  • Providing support to veterinarians and their teams to create a cat friendly practice environment.
  • Outlining strategies for introducing changes in the delivery of care that incorporate a better understanding of the cat’s distinct needs and behaviors.
